It’s not preachy; the starting point of Viridian Notes is that the reader already believes in the seriousness of the threat from global warming. Instead, it can be quite bitingly sarcastic and condescending.
Recent notes have pointed out the obvious, loudly trumpeted the obvious, trotted out our worst fears, been fascinatingly off-topic, and have even covered some promising technological developments in combatting global warming.
