Salsology rocks.
Okay, it’s a bit of a trek from London, but the combination of music, people and venue make it easily worth the trouble. I had a fantastic night, only let down slightly by people lagging towards the end and the floor being very crowded. It was good to see lots of other Londoners made the journey too.
SOS was never going to match up to it, but given their music volume problems they did a reasonable job. I do think, though, that something has to give. It’s shutting earlier, they have low limits on the sound system, and quite a few people think that it’s going down hill. Nonetheless I had fun on Sunday, and it would be a real shame to see SOS spiral down.
