The BBC News article on the Lib Dem leadership hustings gives a little detail on each of the candidates platforms. What caught my attention though, was the picture at the bottom of the page, of the candidates sitting together.
Three out of four of them are wearing blue ties. Given the fear of David Cameron that seems to be afflicting the Lib Dems, and the recent attempt to seduce Lib Dems to the blue side, I wonder if this wasn’t an effort to look safe to any members who might be tempted.
As an aside, it was good to see that libdems4cameron.com quickly spawned libdems4cameron.co.uk and cameron4libdems.com. All that blue on yellow makes me want to visit Ikea, which is not a pleasant sensation.
